APPOINTMENTS ADMINISTRATOR (part-time)
24 hours per week (Monday-Saturday on rota system including daytime and evenings)
Salary: £11,918 (pro rata to £17,381)

As the country’s largest provider of relationship support, Relate nationally reaches over a million people every year, and works directly with people of all ages, backgrounds and sexual orientations to support them with their relationships. Relate provides relationship counselling for couples and individuals, children & young people and families as well as sex therapy and education and learning services to help people at all stages of life.
Relate London SW is looking to recruit a part-time Appointments Administrator, to work as part of a team taking responsibility for our appointments and administrative systems.
Using our online appointments system, you will ensure the smooth running of all counselling appointments, dealing efficiently and sensitively with clients and keeping complete and accurate computerised and paper records.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to the work of Relate; excellent organisational and administrative skills; the ability to listen and react empathetically to clients’ difficulties whilst maintaining a professional stance and keeping to the task. The successful candidate will be IT literate with experience of working with database systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, email and internet; have excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills and a flexible, ‘can-do’ approach and have the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure manage and prioritise their own workload

Experienced Couple and Family counsellors
Relate London SW is seeking experienced counsellors to work with couples and/or families at various locations across SW London. Experienced candidates can begin working for Relate without additional training if their qualifications meet the Relate Assessment of Prior Experience and Learning (APEL) requirements. Applicants will received further information about our APEL scheme.
Eligible candidates should ideally have 5+ years counselling experience and, either experience of working with couples and/or families, or a qualification which equips you to do so.
Successful candidates will be available to work a minimum of 6 hours during our peak times (ie: evenings and/or Saturdays). Total number of hours is negotiable dependent on applicants availability and flexibility to work at our busiest times/locations.
The ability to deliver online, telephone or webcam counselling would be an advantage, but is not essential. Home based work may be considered.
Our counsellors receive high quality, monthly individual and group supervision, support of a dedicated appointments administration team, in-house CPD training, access to the Relate, national practice helpline for emergency consultation on practice issues and an opportunity to be a part of Relate’s vision of a future in which healthy relationships are actively promoted as the basis of a thriving society.
Salary: £14.70ph daytime rate and £18.92 evening/Saturday rate.
